This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
